Two interesting features of electric car market

Here’s the big news: according to CleanTechnica, in November electric car sales accounted for 12% of the whole market. If you consider that the average market share in the first 10 months of 2013 was 4%, you realize that in the next months EVs will show great sales figures, offsetting even the most optimistic forecasts (see the slide below):

In the meanwhile, price war between automotive corporations is getting harder: Mitsubishi is reported to drop its i-MiEV american price by more than 6.000 $. That means that after federal and state subsidies you can have the chance to buy a 2014 model of the car for less than 15.000 $ (depending on where you live, even 13.000). It is extremely likely that the automotive giants, especially GM and Ford, will soon answer in the only possible way: further price drops.
